Named after the French word for “milk,” Lait is an independent, small-batch candle company founded by fashion-industry veteran Jennifer Rhee, whose mission is to nourish the olfactory senses à la française in an eco-conscious manner. All Lait candles are hand-poured in West Hollywood using American soy wax and non-toxic, plant-based fragrance oils, from fig and plum to

patchouli and teakwood. The candles also feature lead-free wicks and reusable vessels, some of which are carved from marble.
