Momoko Suzuki and Alexander Yamaguchi founded Los Angeles–based brand Black Crane in 2009 with a deep interest in exploring their Japanese roots through clothing design. The brand’s low profile aesthetic culminates in minimal, graceful lines, muted tones and relaxed cocoon silhouettes made from pure fabrics.
